PRESIDENT

Lucy is a women’s health educator with a decade of experience as an integrative Naturopath. She is the Tasmanian Community Coordinator with the Resillience Canopy, founder and director of the networking initiative ‘CAM Connect’. Lucy is also a certified MotherCircle facilitator.

VICE PRESIDENT

Ruth is a Registered Midwife and Childbirth Educator with over a decade of experience. Ruth supports women in hospitals, birth centers, and at home, empowering them through education and support to ensure a joyful birth experience.

SECRETARY

Lu is a social policy professional dedicated to creating fair and inclusive communities through people-centred policies and programs. She has managed a range of significant social research and policy projects in NSW and Tasmania, including areas such as social housing, health, community development, food relief and women's safety. Lu is currently a senior housing advisor with Homes Tas.

TREASURER

Stef has proudly called the Huon Valley home since 2015. A successful small business owner, Stef owns and operates Huon Humble Homes and The Pod Project; both heart-led businesses helping to build creative living spaces and small homes for local folk. He loves his patch and his family. Being the son of a passionate, feisty Dutch midwife, Stef understands that women's health = community health

FOUNDING MEMBER

Flic is a women’s bodywork specialist, trained in Remedial Massage & Hawaiian Bodywork (Ka Huna & Lomi Lomi). She is also a qualified Womb & Fertility Massage Therapist, a Pregnancy Massage Practitioner & Doula.

Karlyn specialises in trauma-sensitive Breathwork, Bodywork and Pleasure Education. With 20 years in complementary health, she focuses on women’s wellbeing, mental health and nervous system regulation for all. Karlyn also works with Health Consumers Tasmania.

Miriam works as a Holistic Counselor using the method of Process Work. With a background in program management, community work and disability support Miriam brings a diverse understanding to her work in the community of the Huon.

A Waldorf Educator since 2000, is a trained Shamanic Womancraft teacher and facilitator. She co-developed Project Pomegranate to address Eating Disorders. Kristan also offers Shamanic Womancraft sessions and is completing a Master’s in Social Work.

Kellie of Santosha Innerwork blends Yoga, massage, acupressure, and energy healing. she’s taught kids' yoga since 2014 and opened her business in 2018. Certified in Lomi Lomi, Reiki, and more, she offers yoga, bodywork & sound healing.

Maria is a support worker with over 20 years experience, a trained birth attendant and graduate teacher of the School of Shamanic Womancraft. Her background is in performing arts and somatic awareness is at the core of her offerings and inquiries. She is passionate about grass roots community building, tiny home living, holding circles, ceremonies and eating cake.

Isabell is a Birth & Postpartum Doula dedicated to supporting birthing people with compassion and respect. Isabell’s approach emphasizes self-care, vulnerability, and receiving support. Each birthing experience is tailored to individual needs, ensuring it’s empowering and nurturing.

Mish is a birth doula supporting women and their families from pre conception through to postpartum on their unique path. Ensuring they have the knowledge and support to navigate this transition while feeling held and empowered.

Sarah is a nutritionist who specialises in women’s hormonal health, while also being a certified FAM practitioner. She is the founder of the Arc Woman Project, focused on long term health solutions for women, encompassing lifestyle solutions for each woman.
